Fitness is JJ’s profession as well as his passion. As a Tier 3+ Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor at Equinox in San Francisco’s Financial District, JJ has helped hundreds of busy professionals achieve healthy and sustainable fitness goals.

Jonathan is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Weight Loss Specialist (WLS) and also holds certifications from Precision Nutrition L1, TRX and ViPR, Kettlebell Athletics L1 Coach, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, Pre-Post Natal.
CrossFit Level 1 and is a Certified Spinning Instructor.

With a background in management consulting and PR, JJ takes a structured and evidence based approach to fitness. He is laser focused on results and he combines this with a sense of deep compassion for everyone he works with.

In 2014 he was named Equinox San Francisco’s Top Producing Trainer and in 2015 San Francisco’s Hottest Male Trainer. His blog JJ Fit 24/7 and Instagram offer practical, effective and free videos, advice and tips each week. He holds a BA in Psychology from Duke University and is a proud daddy to three adorable cats.
